GOA GOVERNMENT SIGNS AN AGREEMENT WITH NTPC FOR 100 E-BUSES AND CHARGING STATIONS

Goa government has entered into an agreement with National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd (NTPC) for procurement of 100 electric buses and setting up charging stations across the state.

Norway’s automotive industry body recently said that 47% of the new vehicles sold in the European country are electric vehicles (EVs). The European country with a population of just 5.3 Mn become the world’s third largest market for EVs after the US and China.

LAURETI LAUNCHES E-SUV DIONX FOR THE INDIAN MARKET

Laureti has introduced its all new E-SUV named as DionX in the Indian market. The company is touting it as the “India’s Longest Range EV”. The full size E-SUV is capable of reaching 540 km range on a single charge said the company in a statement.

The London-based company is also in the process of investing $370 million (around Rs 2,577 crore) to set up a manufacturing facility at Puducherry

TESLA’S PRODUCTION IN Q4 GREW TO 86555 VEHICLES, ANNOUNCES $2,000 PRICE REDUCTION

Tesla has announced that in Q4, the company produced and delivered at the rate of nearly 1,000 vehicles per day, setting new company records for both production and deliveries. The company also announced reducing the price of Model S, Model X and Model 3 vehicles in the U.S. by $2,000.
