Hyundai chalks out smart mobility plan for India, focus on shared, connected and EVs

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. has chalked out smart mobility plan for the country and It is based on three pillars – Shared, Connected and EVs.

The country’s first Smart Mobility Solutions Company has announced new corporate campaign – ‘Once Upon A Time Hyundai was a Car Company’ by consolidating future of mobility with Shared, Connected and Clean Technologies.

The South Korean firm has taken a multi-pronged approach to its mobility strategy, highlighting the new corporate campaign to showcase Hyundai’s transformation from an automobile brand to a Smart Mobility Solutions Company.

Commenting on the new corporate campaign S S Kim, MD & CEO, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, “Hyundai is already leading the future mobility solutions and is committed to realizing India’s vision of ‘Shared’, ‘Connected’ and ‘Zero Emission Mobility’. Hyundai will proactively respond to market changes and persistently innovate to deliver greater value to our customers. We will bring to market a new generation of mobility solutions, as we constantly expand our range of offerings for our consumers.”

The company shared more details about the strategy, noting that under the purview of Shared Mobility, the company aims to create an environment where everyone has unlimited access to safe and convenient transportation. Hyundai Motor strives to provide freedom of movement to everyone by investing in mobility services such as car sharing and car-hailing.

As part of the connected mobility the company is continuously evolving a ‘Connected Car Program’ to link an individual’s car with other cars, their office and even the wider urban environment, resulting in greater safety and convenience. Hyundai VENUE – India’s First Connected Car is a true expression of Connected Technologies available for Indian Customers.

Under the purview of Clean Mobility introduction of Electric vehicle is one of the most important components to achieving this mission. Hyundai is fully prepared to deliver every type of electric vehicle including electric vehicles (HEV), electric vehicles (EV), and fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEV), said the company in a statement.
