ITI floats tender for implementation of EV Charging Infrastructure Operation Centre

The Indian Telephone Industries (ITI) Ltd., on behalf of MSEDCL floated tender inviting bids for the implementation of EV Charging Infrastructure Operation Centre.

Scope of work includes supply, customisation, installation, deployment and maintenance of the necessary software and other systems for electrical vehicle charging infrastructure operation centre to facilitate monitoring, data logging and data analysis of charging stations across Maharashtra.

The tender document notes that winning bidders will be required to provide comprehensive operations and maintenance of the system for the period of 5 years from the date of acceptance.

The scope of work will be further extended The last date for bid submission is June 8, 2019, and the technical bids will be opened on the same date. All bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 2 lakh along with their bids as bid security.

Eligibility

The bidders should have experience in implementation of an EV Charging infrastructure operation centre managing at least 10 charging stations, in India or abroad from the FY 2012-13 and onwards up to the last date of tender submission.

The bidders should have an average annual financial turnover of at least Rs 10 crore for the FY years 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18.

Bidders should also have a positive net worth and should be profit making in each of the last three financial years as on bid submission date.

ITI in March this year floated similar tender for the implementation of Electrical Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Operation Centre.

The terms and provision of the EoI were identical to the latest EoI issued by the corporation.
