Solar products, EVs showcased at Odisha Solar Alliance

Odisha Solar Alliance

Odisha Solar Alliance’s first Annual meet was recently concluded where more than 150 engineering students from various colleges, 40+ solar professionals and others attended the first zero carbon emission conference on solar at Energy Park Bhubaneswar.

Various companies showcased innovative solar products and electric vehicles at the event.

RN Das,advisor in the planning board of Odisha govt inaugurated the second session of solar alliance. He visited all the working models of energy generation and discussed in details regarding solar cells, module manufacturing, products and components.

Das said “Odisha needs young entrapreneurs and solar is good field for the budding entrepreneurs”. He further added “Odisha has a huge potential of solar energy, the climatic conditions of state makes it ideal for capturing the solar rays insufficiency and makes it ideal for manufacturers.” He congratulated Utkal Gourav Panda for his innovative solar cap for farmers.

Odisha is consuming coal for power generation which also increases carbon emission. With rooftop solar, every household can save carbon emissions,” said Das..

He congratulated organizers of Odisha Solar Alliance – Saswat Sourav Panda of Kirloskar Solar and Sharthak Bhagat CEO of White Shark Energy on ensuring the event consumed zero energy in lighting, refreshments and transportation. Pattnaik also encouraged the organizers to conduct more renewable energy awareness programs in the State.

OSA (Odisha Solar alliance) was conducted at Bhubaneswar, the temple city of India. The Bijupattnaik Energy park which is dedicated by govt. of Odisha towards growth and free awareness of RE campaign since 2008 was the center of this gathering.
