SECI Floats tender for 100 MW Solar power plant at Singareni Collieries, Telangana

The Solar Energy Corporation of India has floated Tender for 100 MW (AC) Solar Power Plant at Singareni Collieries Company Limited, Telangana, India.

Scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing & commissioning of the solar power plant under different packages. Scope also included 10 years plant O&M.

Tender documents for this project will be uploaded on April 22, 2019.

Singareni Collieries Company Limited or SCCL is a coal mining company jointly owned by the Telangana government and the central government.

Recently SECI floated tender for 500 MW (Phase I) of grid-connected solar PV projects in Tamil Nadu on Build Own Operate basis. The power generated from the solar project will be acquired by Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO).

SECI will enter into a PPA with the successful solar project developers for 25 years. It has set the upper ceiling tariff at INR 2.85 /kWh.
