SECI invites bid for 2000 MW ISTS-connected wind power projects

Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI) floats RfS document inviting bid for Setting up of 2000 MW ISTS- Connected Wind Power Projects (Tranche-IV).

SECI notes that Wind Power Developers selected by SECI based on this RfS, shall set up Wind Power Projects on Built Own Operate (BOO) basis in accordance with the provisions of this RfS document and standard Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

SECI shall enter into PPA with the Wind Power Developers  for a period of 25 years from the date as per the provisions of PPA. The maximum tariff payable to each WPD is fixed at Rs. 2.93/kWh for the entire term of 25 years. The bidders will be free to avail fiscal incentives like Accelerated Depreciation, Concessional Custom Duties, Tax Holidays, etc. available for such projects as per prevailing conditions. The same will not have any bearing on comparison of bids for selection. As equal opportunity is being provided to all bidders at the time of tendering itself, it is up to the bidders to avail various tax and other benefits. No claim shall arise on SECI for any liability if bidders are not able to avail fiscal incentives and this will not have any bearing on the applicable tariff. 1.3.3.

According to the rfs the eligible bid capacity for bidding will be minimum 50 MW and maximum 300 MW by a Bidder.

Cost of RfS Document (nonrefundable) is Rs. 29500/- (inclusive of GST) to be submitted in the form of DD/Pay Order, along with the response to RfS in favour of “Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd”.
